^^^ THIS.

Also, will there be a price difference between oiled & dry?

Polyurethane type dry

I personally will only use oiled in a 2 stage setup with the outter oiled and the inner dry

CAI update

The piece was 98% finished yesterday, old mate knocked off with just a few mins to go - he had a question and I missed his ph call.

Anyhow, I will have it Monday. Will test it for fit - if it conforms with first unit and passes - then it will be prepared into a full RAM CAI kit for sale late next week

Thread is renamed

There is no possible way to induct more air NA than with this item. There are many parts of air intake mods that can be called "CAI or something else".

This is the ultimate for flow - so I think it should be called Raptor - STAGE 4 RAM INTAKE. It will need a sticker to go with soonest I can get to it

Just a timely heads up for all your H6 customers too Tim, especially with this RAM intake nearly ready for market;
Check for any signs of a crack running down the center of the plenum near the throttle body inlet. It is apparently quite common and can easily be overlooked -but is obviously critical for unmetered air/fueling problems. Hopefully anyone with signs of a crack appearing can get it plastic welded as i have done prior to installing the RAM intake. Sure beats finding it during installation and having to wait till it gets fixed! Anyone with a H6 should check for this..

Wow - thanks for that one

Factory plastic seems very THIN there

That's a nasty one for the tuners, a customer could think their tune is degrading or going weird - but it could entirely be something like this.

Thanks for showing us all

Received the first Stage 4 RAM INTAKE today

It fits on the vehicle for sure but still some more work to be done. This thing is a hard item to get right.

At the moment some of the air gaps need to be closed up, will admit a touch too much heated air from engine area. Need to minimise that
