Updates

We expect to completely finish on the design and produce the pattern for laser cutting tomorrow - providing the fabricator is on the job.

Have run 3 tunes through the ECU with KiDo providing that imput, the car is driving in a fashion that seems more powerful than any 3.0 should ever be. The torque at 4500 is just incredible.

So what does all that mean, well I have not dyno'd the car and wont be, the headgasket has totally had enough of testing so apart from some very short full power bursts that is it.

I expect you (buyers) will find the additional gains may FEEL equal to the header gains, Matt will be tuning your vehicles to get more from them than even I do as he will be hands on, mine is done remotely.

Pricing, I have already got more costs in this than the headers - means the retail is going to be around $470 - Australian produced

I will have dyno tuning results very soon back to back to show the gains ;)

Zero induction noise at highway speed or any rpm less that 5000rpm. You have to get right amongst it before any induction sounds will occurr

What type of filter has the testing to date been performed with? Do you think an oiled filter would make a substantial difference?

CAI UPDATE

The CAI has been sorted, a jig made and 1 full piece 95% made. Soonest we can get this first unit into my car and test fitted then I will release that 1 unit while we make another one

My car is going in to have the motor ripped out on Thursday for headgasket replacement, I need to get the CAI final fitted before that happens so we can release 1 to a customer

Wow, I am getting hammered on this one

OK, update time

1. I have had the car back one week but didnt have time to sort the CAI. Car is otherwise running fantastic now the HG's have been replaced

2. The CAI jig has been built but we need to check the product that comes from it for final fit to car
3. The fab shop owner may have issues, both with health and with workload in the immediate future. I will discuss with him this coming week what we do about that. If necessary it can be done by another supplier.

Like the headers its taking time to come forth, the birthing process here is slow but the product will perform.

I will report more on around Wednesday
