Nice transformation! you must be very happy..

I'm looking forward to the results from further fine tuning and the benefits from the WTA cooler. Looks promising...

How's the supercharger whistle?

Where's the video?! :D

I believe once fine tuning is completed on the ign and fuel, I will start on the AVCS/VVT tuning to see if I can enhance the low to mid range. Fine tuning takes a while and its not a day process in remote tuning. At least 5 roms will be release just to handle AVCS/VVT tuning. SC tuning is different to Turbo tuning with AVCS/VVT.

In addition, we will have to relook at DBW to further enhance the drive, if the customer so desire.

I will encourage my customer for some vids and so forth.

Once we can add the IC and I am not sure if the IC would be a FMIC, which would be way way way better, more tq and hp can be had. Water Injection would help tremendously. I can assure you Hydra EMS tuning would net more power.

Please note with tuning this customer, we are using 3G technology for realtime support. Rom uploads are on the fly.

It would be great to line up all cars, and come to Australia (my first visit) to tune all and get to me people I never see before and cars I never feel :)

I believe tuning will start back today. This may allow me to start AVCS tuning.

I would love a 3R now over the stock JDM STI 2.0L. Not only that with power up to 7000+ more rpm, I would be shifting higher and higher to fall back in whp range on the 3R SC. It seems to be a blast to drive at 5psi......hmmmm

I Wish wrote:Ok. I will fess up now. I am the owner of the vehicle in question.

It is only running 5Psi at the moment and with the higher ambient temperature up north I an tempted to keep the current pulley.

A decent water/air intercooler will gain me a few more Kw's anyway. Best to keep things safe.

Still a lot more tuning to go, but substantial gains are already there. My mate who installed the kit for me, commented on the quality and ease of installation.

The kit itself will take a competant person 2hrs to install including wiring. Injector and fuel pump upgrades dependant on the person installing them.

I had my larger injectors (Sti blues - 565cc) installed a few weeks earlier and had them dialled in beforehand.

Once the kit was installed and the engine fired up. I had a modified Rom loaded up to allow for the increase airflow. But since mine was the first there was a lot of unknowns. Car started and idled perfectly and driven around normally nothing was amiss.

Tuning began in earnest this morning after the first logging session yesertday with the truncated data. Mate who was driving felt the difference after the first Rom. After the third he was very impressed. This was a guy who has workd on high horsepower WRX's and V8's in the past. Said that the engine drove like stock but with the obvious increase in power.

WOT runs for logging felt very quick and felt as though the engine would have just kept on revving out until it exploded!

More results form the tuning tomorrow morning. You can be assured that the water/air cooling kit will be a quality item built by one of the best in the business.

Please bear in mind that there are only two kits out in the public domain at the moment and there are some issues that will be addressed before it is mass produced.

Many Many thanks for your feedback, I think everything is remote from where you live :), wish I was closer at times like this

I plan to offer a new version of the supercharger for those who choose to run a WTA intercooler system, this new version will have a liquid cooled transmission which will plumb into the WTA system. Obviously this new version cannot be used with FMIC systems

The LC version will give near silent running as its biggest feature, the LC will perform the heat removal from the SC that the fan assisted air cooling normally would give.

There will be 2 year warranty on all LC superchargers

My interest is still high on this thread, so for the LC version, have you any idea of the wet finger, ball park, rough as guts, price?

The LC version will be only $200, this covers the manufacture of the water jacket and the fittings to connect into the WTA system

Dont expect me to post very often as I am currently overseas until June 7

And while we are on the topic of the LC version, can it be retro fitted to your existing SC kits?

I just want to say, tuning of the SC is simple. The greatest task in tuning leading up to the SC or even on the SC for untuned cars is the stock pinging performance and the new injectors installed. Again, other than that, its pretty simple, but is different to tuning a turbo when compare to VVT.
