Today was headlight shields for a XT Forrester that was coated with paint protection 10 months ago and still beading like the day it went on. The shield is thick enough to stop any stone ships etc and looks crystal clear

Application process takes about an hour each to get the film to flex around the multiple curves of the headlight

Two days were spent on this RX8 GT. The goal was to get the finish to the best it can in the time and protect with with Cquartz Finest ceramic protection (At owners request)

Condition of the paint wasn't too bad as he it's a weekender garage queen but had polish stains in every crack and between the badges and needed some TLC

Red MY01 RX Liberty...

Wait, I don't think that's quite what you were going for here, was it? :P ;) STILL waiting on insurance to get the other stuff sorted, I will get it to you eventually! (Might as well wait until I drive to Melbourne, around Tassie and back again anyways)

Apparently the insurance companies are arguing amongst themselves who is at fault... I don't really care at this point, I'd pay my excess just to get it sorted at this stage - the main thing I want fixed (the spoiler) isn't part of the insurance stuff anyway, I was just getting it fixed as a cash job at the same time. There's hardly any damage to my car (minor scrape on front bar, barely noticeable unless you're looking for it), the only reason insurance are involved was because of the other party. It's stupid. Next time I'm going to have a proper accident on the road so at least the road rules are there to figure it out - who has a collision in a servo anyways?!? :angry2:

Anyway, back to the point - Taylor did also suggest possibly finding a replacement spoiler at wreckers which may end up cheaper than a re-spray and polish up OK if I can find one the right colour. I haven't looked yet. It's got really bad though - 2/3 of the clear coat is completely dead, all in 12-14 months :(

Car bra might be worthwhile - apart from the scrape from the above mentioned incident, and one underneath, my front bar is actually in pretty good nick.

Thanks mate, Solid black (no metallic or pearl flake) is the hardest paint to work on but it's hands down the most reflective and wet looking when corrected.
