oh and white interior just doesnt work when you have kids and two dogs :)

Easy, don't let your kids or your dogs in the car.

Or get one of these http://www.milford-auto.com/products/ca ... rty/705575
And some of these http://www.leaderproducts.com.au/produc ... out-chains

And chuck them all in the back together. They'll have a blast.

On the XR8 though... how do people achieve such craptastic buffing trails? Do they try it without polish? Or too much/too little polish? Or wrong pads?

Rotary tool + lack of knowledge = buffing trails and risk of strike through or burning the paint

Mercedes CLS63 needing a light correction to remove some sulphuric acid marks (Had been washed off and didn't visually damage the paint but you could tell something was wrong when you washed the car)

Unfortunately not, wouldn't mind the v8 Biturbo as a daily though. Might ask them for a spin in their R35 race car one day

Next up: BMW E46 M3 Carbon black (Solid black, not mettalic which is the hardest colour as it shows up everything).

I did a 2 stage paint correction and then put Opti-coat Paint protection on it.
