My vf52 arrived (in perfect condition!!!) and install is booked in for the 20th.
Would like to get the tune on the 22nd. If that means dyno tune then i'm perfectly happy with that

The old 04 GT has a new lease of life. Car is definitely pulling earlier and smoothly.
Still need to take it for a proper run but the power is more usable now. Unlike stock when it was like driving a bag of dough off turbo then turned into a Rottweiler with ADHD when planted.
Would like to see what a few mods (cough dump cough cough pipe) may do but happy with the outcome.
Tiptronic gear shift responds better as well.
It's worth the $$ just to sort out the friggin idle!

Below car has been gone for quite some time now... blew bottom end bearing and dealership screwed me! Now driving 2008 WRX with ~65k kms on the clock. Only has cat back exhaust and tune by KiDo at the moment! More to come... but slowly!
Purchased recently (12/11/2013), already with: Stage 2 Pedders lowered springs, rear Whiteline sway bar, Advan Racing TCII 18x8 wheels, k&N pod filter, custom 3" exhaust system from turbo back with Magnaflow mufflers. ECUTEK tune of some sort (hopefully soon to be fixed)..... now FIXED!! Now KiDo Tuned!
Added: HID kit, EZ lip equivalents to the front and sides, and various LED treatments, oem boot spoiler, [LGT WRC] plates, GFB Respons BOV for extra Pssscchhh! --> Gone... I couldn't afford it's heart transplant... but keep a look out, as it will come back on sale soon!

Just came back from my tune with Matt.
what an amazing difference
Previously on a Verso tune I made around 215hp. Since then I got a VF52 and Matt estimates around 270+hp once I sort out a gasket leak. Completely different car to drive.. just a shame about the issues on the dyno though.

250Hp in Sport mode on 13.2psi... was a solid performer! It would be closer to 300whp in S# with the extra 4psi boost!

On a vf52
I'm not too clued in on the differences between dynos, but the original 215hp (with a vf46) was on a Verso tune at AllStarGarage in Perth which I believe is a roller dyno.
The 270+ Matt estimates is based on the hub dyno I was on with a vf52 installed. We couldn't get a final run on it because the dyno wasn't cooperating with the auto transmission
The gasket in the throttle body hose has blown according to Matt, so will be getting a new silicon hose shortly
