WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!

How hard can it be........

Step A - steal designer from European car company..

Step B - follow instructions exactly

Step C - refer to Step B

The Motor Report reports that the AUD $2,500 worth of extra equipment – around $2,300 USD – comes with just an AUD $500 ($468) price hike.

As I said in another Forum, I can't see Subaru giving away a cold $2,000 on every 2014 OB sold, never happen, unless of course that value ($2,500) is overly inflated for advertising purposes and to make buyers feel warm and fuzzy.

Yeah its the US style OB, they had this style there for a little while I think, whereas I think we have had the Eur/Jap/SA spec outer bits for a lower key look and low profile roof rack mounts.

Looks OK as far as these think go IMHO (lots of tough looking square ribbed plastic cladding) but the roof rails look a bit too heavy to me - least on the white car - I know they have built-in rails to swing out.

Saw one in Blackburn the other day - didn't spew up so it must have looked OK! (I'm embracing Gen V "ugliness"!)

Yeah Subyroo - the "value" of stuff claimed of course costs the manufacturer a couple of hundred at most - often because they can save costs on extra or more complex (formerly luxury spec stuff now made standard) electronics or trim by putting it in more cars, lowering the per unit cost and simplifying the installation process so there's less variants.

It looks too American, like a Jeep or something. I much prefer the Gen4 styling, cleaner and more subtle
