'05 Outback 3.0R - Cat-back exhaust? Lowering?

Hi guys,

Just picked up my MY05 Outback 3.0R, and loving it. I've owned several Subes before this, but never a 6. I love the stock sound, much like a NA Porsche, but would loved to get a cat-back system for it. As the Outbacks arent exactly "modders" cars I've struggling to find anything listed for them.

Am I safe to go with Liberty items such as the one below? I havent checked the shape of the piping under mine yet, but even if it looks right, that'd mightn't be enough for a good fit.

Also, looking to lower it at some point (yes I should have bought a Lib instead lol) Do the Outbacks run body blocks to get the exra height or is it simply higher struts? Again, am I able to simply swap these out for Liberty items? My model doesnt have auto-levelling suspension, just as a note (that I know of).

Cheers guys. Looking forward to being a regular here.

Exhaust pipeing is the same as liberty. You are correct on body spacers about 1.5" ones and also longer struts. Swap over to liberty struts and you drop 2" straight up even with blocks still in.
