CHANGING 4300K HID GLOBES TO 6000K

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to change the factory 4300k hid globes to 6000k ones ?? thanks Dave

Yes.

Check what bulb your stock one is, go to ebay, search that bulb + 6000k.
Done.

Folks, let's try using the Search function first! This is a basic mod and would be covered already.

Anyway, the factory HID bulbs are D2S. So you can replace them with D2S or D2C, as they will both fit. But you can either give Leo (hks180) a PM if you're in Sydney or Clarence (Tangcla) a PM if you're in Melbourne. Otherwise you can also give eBay a go. Good luck.

Basically, for your low beams (I'm assuming low-beams here), to remove the LHS, need to remove washer bottle clip and the headlight back cover (grey coloured, twist to open). To remove the RHS, remove the air intake clips and twist off the back cover.

To remove the bulbs, remove the 2 spring clips on either side of bulb, then twist open the wiring harness.

To fit back, reverse the process.

Both HKS180 and Tangcla can provide you with replacement bulbs. Have fun.
