As you may have guessed, need to give my windscreen wipers a spray as the paint is flaking off them a bit.

I've undone the nut that is under the little plastic cap, and the blooder wiper wouldn't budge, now is there a secret screw floating about, or do i need to stad on my left let or something to get it off??

Any help would be groovy..

Cheers

I don't know your model specifically, but on my previous two cars (Mazda Astina, Toyota Corona), it was pressed down over a splined post.
Just pulling upwards and wiggling was enough to get it off both off them, after removing the nut.

Note it's the wiper arm you are wiggling, not your left leg, or any other body parts! ;)

Do it with the wiper arm lifted right up, so it's in line with the post as you wiggle.

Careful not to wriggle side to side as it can strip the teeth .

He means don't wiggle it parallel to the glass, so you would be rotating on the spline and could strip it.
(That's what would happen if you did NOT fold it up away from the glass)
