I believe the answer would be no. If you search unequal headers there are a few posts on the subject saying why.

NO!

Twin scroll means it has a different layout turbo... so normal headers will not fit...

You may however be able to replace them with aftermarket un-equal length twin-scroll headers...

twin scroll means the turbo has 2 inlets in the exhaust housing(in a nutshell anyway)

You will lose response.

Moz on here has done it, unequal length headers on his 2.0GT.

I have to say though. If you wanted the uneven note, why didn't you just buy a WRX?

Ok,its not as simple as you mite think.
Firstly you need the same turbo that would go on a wrex,so that means you need a downpipe that bolts onto a rex turbo, then you need wrex headers and i think i changed the sump.
As far as power goes Mike got me an awesome turbo (zero sports)which was an upgrade for a gc8.I blow most rex's away.
Now mines an auto so tiny bit of lag at take of,but once spools up its very good,i suppose it realisticaly drives like a rex now and sounds like one.
You wont loose power, but you may loose a little responce as the twinscroll turbos spool quicker

Another thing ,you ecu will throw a hissy fit,so a tune is a must.
For me it was worth it as the engine was out and replaced with an sti short motor.
My advice would be to get a dpipe from mike, not 100% sure but perhaps the the dpipe from the 2.5 litre may fit,i just chopped the end of my avo dpipe and put the top of a rex one on,worked!!

aargghh i was hoping just a header mod to fit twinscroll anyhow, so that means for example a rex tdo4 turb will work and will the turbo mate up to the stock intercooler or will i need a wrx intercooler aswell, and i will def need a new tune or can u get away without it,cheers mate

You dont need diferent intercooler, but think you need a new uppipe too ,forgot.all these parts should be cheap and relatively easy to get ,check rex forums
You ecu prolly will learn, but if your going to that trouble, why wouldnt you tune
