Getting a wire inside the car

Postby CappZ » Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:46 am

How would I go about getting a wire from the engine bay into the car?
I took my glove box out and the cabin filter is in the way so I couldn't see what I was doing and I couldn't get the wire through..
Anyone tried? Whats the best way?

Ps. I promise this isn't for the HID reverse lights lol

shouldn't their be those rubber holes that you run through into your cabin?? just run a stick in their and get someone to see where the other side of hole is???

And I should be able to reach around the cabin filter and pull the wire?

it actually comes out a lot lower than that, it's deceiving :)

follow the cable coming out of the ecu it will come out from where that cable penetrates the firewall.

If you push in the bottom of the main wiring loom grommet/plug in to the cabin from the engine bay (on the right hand side below the intake air filter) and feed a wire through the bottom of it, the wire should come out in the right hand corner of the passenger side footwell, no need to take out the glovebox.
