Me and my mate took apart the dash today on my GEN3 to check out how hard it would be to fit new globes in there... after some inspecting and so on, after we put it all back together. the lights wont turn back on!!! my fuel light stays permanently on and the clock and trip lights stay on when u turn the car on but wen u turn the switch to put the lights on, the others turn off!
wat the hell have i done!?

ive checked all the fuses and they are not blown, i put everything back together properly!

plz giv any suggestions possible!

Any chance you've put a plug in rotated a half turn?

When you say dash do you mean the instruments cluster (speedo/tacho etc), or do u mean the centre console hvac controls? (heater, stereo etc).

The instruments cluster needs to sit right so that the electrical contacts are connected (they are just friction fit). Also have you checked your dimmer setting??

one of the globes was loose, my idiot mate musnt hav put it back right..

So often, if you want something done with the proper care you gotta do it yourself
