Does anyone have a walk through of how to remove the cubby display from my dash ?
It's giving me the shits at the moment as I require a new one. It needs a tap every time 10 mins as I am drive my car to display something.

At least your tapping still works

Grab the cubby and pull it out, it requires a tough yank or two. Then it should be fairly self explanatory

Yes unfortunately the tapping only worked for so long for me.

Hi,
I took mine off and re-solded the joins and clean any surface rust as such and had to no luck. I assume it is the LCD part that has f**ked itself and wont un-F**k itself.

Subaru price to replace is over $400 and they wont $70 installation fee.( not bad for a 2min job )

Any ideas where i can get one on the cheap...
