Just wondering if anyone has added in a Sat Nav like this ..

Is it hard to get a replacement facia and mod it so that a GPS can be dropped in? Also, what sort of cost would be involved.

It seems like a fairly good mod considering the GPS could be updated over time and removed prior to sale if required.

I would guess that you just remove the current front opening and replace it with a color matched piece of plastic to fit. I'm not 100% sure how you would fix it in place (clips, glue .. ?) but I guess it wouldnt be that hard to make.

Does anyone know someone who can cut / produce plastic to a certain size and shape?

If I was going to install a GPS in the cubby I would want to make more efficient use of the space, i.e. bigger screen.

Hey guys this is how, un-screw the 3 screws that hold the cubby hole pocket and remove the pocket. Refer to the shots and the rest of the modification is up to you.

Thx the door is easy to remove but how do you remove the whole cubby display from the dash.

Next thing is to find the plate to cover the remaining exposed bits when the nav is in. Like in the picture.
