I am looking to purchase a jaycar kit which allows the windows to automatically roll up when i lock the car....

HOWEVER>>>>
I need to find atrigger for door lock, (and window switch n motor obviously)

Does anyone have a diagram, or know which wires they are, or where i can find them all?!?! (mainly door lock trigger as the others are easy find)

There is a lock and unlock wire which comes out of the master lock/unlock rocker switch at the driver's door, you can tap into it at the body control module in under in front of the steering column. It's all in the workshop manual but it took a while for me to work it out.

As for a wire which is lock/unlock when activating your remote keyfob I could not work out where the output is from the BCM to the master central locking solenoid. The remote central locking module appears to talk to the BCM in pulses so I do not believe you can use that wiring harness.

For my aftermarket alarm and central locking I have just tapped into the master rocker switch at the driver's door, at the BCM harness.

yea I was worried that was the answer....

What kind of pulses does it send?! Are the pulses constant? Are the pulses 12V?
Do you have a screen shot of the pulses?
Im thinking, depending on the pulses, I can convert them into something that can trigger a relay off, which can then do the job...

Or will I distrupt the signal by trying to tap in at that point?! And then hence, the car will not unlock properly from the key anymore...

Thanks

There are only 2 wires coming from the remote central locking module, which is why I concluded that it uses pulses to communicate with the BCM. At a minimum you would need 4 wires for a switched system (trigger source, power source, plus 1 output each for unlock and lock).

In saying that I have not put a multimeter or oscilloscope on the wires, since the aim my installation was simply to disconnect the factory keyless entry control.

Here are the relevant pages from the MY05 workshop manual. I'd imagine later models are very similar.

(I've place orange circles around the relevant points.)
The two wires going to the door lock actuator will be energised in one direction to lock, and the opposite direction to unlock.
You could convert this to a simple switch closure with just a diode and a relay.

Also note, the car is wired to allow the driver door to be locked and unlocked independantly of the other doors, but I'm not sure if the BIU actually has a mode to take advantage of this.

Thinking this through a bit further, ALL the wires you need access to are inside the driver door, so you could put everything in there.

I'm tossing some ideas around in my head of how you'd do this from scratch, completely inside the driver door.
Just for the record, this is what I think is in the door at present (extracted from the MY05 service manual)
