I know I need a black panel but which code number no idea japanparts has this.

I thought Yuki was a chic Anyway, last time I bought my A/V kit, he/she said they only had one kit (silver at the time, luckily for me). Maybe they've got both now.

I told him the part number for the black one, and he's added it now as a variant of the AV panel part. go me!

what size is the din hole? ie will it fit a 7" screen or is it smaller

It's a standard double din enclosure. So, roughly 7" by 4". Depending on the bezel, a 7" screen may fit.
