Didn't I reply fast enough for you ??

I'm going to be taking my car to ASG shortly, it's due for it's next 6 monthly in June, which is going to be a very expensive service, curiously involving the entire exhaust system and a tune.

Tenagah is in Wangara.

Also yes Tenagah is good.

Good to read all the rubbish reviews of Ozzy Park Subaru... ;)

Car is going there for a minor service and a couple of warranty issues, but I don't think I'll be going back there again!

plus 1 for Abdus at Tenagah

Dwayne my 25K log book service with Nik @ ASG cost me $220 inc GST and I supplied the oil and brake fluid. I love being able to hand him the keys and a list of check please items and know it will get done. I also like being able to walk in and around the car when he has it up on the hoist. These things are not possible with dealerships.

Hehe...the old ones are always the best ones!

Shame there's no one in Leederville - why do all these mechanics have to be out in the sticks!?! (apologies to anyone who lives in those sticks)

people dont want garages next to their business or home so industrial parks are the only choice. Malaga is hardly the sticks and well worth the drive for me.

Imagine that you have 20-30 cars starting, running, testing and then dyno runs next to your home or business. Its kinda of loud.

I don't complain about living a few blocks down from the Parramatta Mercedes dealership when the AMG 63's or 55's are given full welly :D

Its mostly to do with councils and the way they zone residential /industrial /comercial/etc. Each have to meet certain requirements to operate incl trading hours, noise, parking, emergency acces, etc.

Also, buildings have to be approved for they type of business and meet those particular requirements - in the case of a workshop, stuff like waste oil, metal, etc storage and disposal, etc. etc.

Mainly, workshops also need to be able to pay the rent which is a lot cheaper "out in the sticks".

Just wanted to make mention of my experiences with City Subaru and the service department there...

Gotta say I was VERY happy with how I was looked after, very professional outfit and will happily go back there in the future!

I had a 75000km service done and got them to check up on a small oil leak which Chris and I discovered when we fitted the front swaybar.
Cost me just over $300 for the service, but they supplied me a loan car in that price and I am happy to pay the money if I am getting looked after.

Highly recommend them for a dealership service if thats what you're after!
