Hey Mike!

Does ur patrol car have like 2 clips sumwhere to hold the maglite in ur car? I have nowhere to hold my car jacker basher. It rolls around the passenger floor.

Cheers mate!

Phil.

Hey Phill, yeah we have the Maglite car chargers.

Great idea, when we start shift we just take them to the car and clip them in.

Then when we need them for light, or to bust a window out they come

Just had a quick look for it, but couldn't find it, but speak to a torch place they should sell it.

When it gets put in the end piece (the light end) actually sits in a little holder clip, and the end of the 4D sits back on an angle etc.

Great invention.

Time to go to work

Mick

Mick they area great idea, except when FLEET re use the same wiring over and over again.

On average in our Highway patrol cars at my station only 1 of the 2 mag light chargers work, where as mine in my own personal car works every time.

Hey Phill, here was a quick look.

http://www.homecouture.com.au/index.cfm ... ategory=97

Our torches sit with the globe facing the ground, on about a 45 degree angle, so it is easy to get in and out etc.

I think they can screw (the ones on the above link) into the vehicle on the gearbox tunnel wall as they look very similar to the ones at work.

I will ask one of the mechanics that fix our cars and see if they know.

Cheers mate!

Damn abit pricey!!!

Well i guess its a good investment, as my maglite rolls around the floor at the moment.

Update mate

Just found another site.

http://www.thetorchshop.co.uk/mag_charg ... radle.html

That is what we have. Notice the bit that the globe end sits into, so it can be put at angles etc.

This is exactly what we have in the car. Thats a cheaper option if you just want a holder, or you can get a chargr and hook it up to the cradle.

Use what the NSWP use LOL
