Hey guys,
has anybody installed an STi boot/trunk lip spoiler on their Gen 4 Liberty?

I've just received mine, and am comtemplating fitting it myself.. unfortunately, the instructions are in Japanese which doesn't help much.

Whilst I managed to successfully fit the STi *front* lip myself in a couple of hours, there is alot more room to mess this one up!

If anyone has done this, coudl you pls offer any advice? Or if you have a copy of English instructions, then is there any chance I can steal a photocopy?

Thanks :D

I got mine installed by a professional it cost me $20.00..

From memory the STi rear spoiler needs about 6 holes to be drilled in the boot, becareful as one slip and you might need a boot respray.

You get a template to mark out where to drill the holes.

p.s i'm in melbourne.

thanks mate..

$20? I got quoted approx. $200 (2 hrs) from Subaru!

I think I will have it professionally fitted.. I don't want to wear the cost of repairs if I misalign the holes in the boot!

that's a rip off.

I got mine fitted from a shop/factory that makes and fits aftermarket spoilers, bumpers, etc.
