I have aquired a silver liberty and while its in relativly good condition body-wise, the front and rear bumpers could use a touch up. From what I hear, trying to do this with silver is a death sentance, esspecially with something as big as the bumpers.
any ideas or reccomendations?

That depends if you have the spraypainting gear yourself.
If not, pull them off, prep them and take them down to your nearest smash repairer. You might be able to get a good deal for cash.

Other than that you can get paint made up in amounts from 100ml to whatever and also pressure packs from some AutoBarn stores or a reputable paint shop. I've done both in thepast and they have been fine.
I'd personally go on Roddezz's advice for the Lib though. Go and see a panel shop and ask if you remove and prep the bars will they do a discount job for cash.

has anyone had a front bar resprayed at a crash repairer recently? How much did it set you back?
My front bar is pretty badly sandblasted from 7 years of road grit.

I think i paid $250 for my front bar, but that included the whole car buffed as well. $150 for the rear bar corner touch up. Very happy with the silver colour match.
