roof lineing

how do i take off the plastic strip under the roof racks ?
i took of the platic cover then took off the 8mm already is it clips holding now which way do i pull it off ?

The whole thing? Not just the bits you pop out to install the roof racks?

I think you'll leave some nasy looking holes on your roof if you do remove the whole thing.

Permanently or temporarily?

As Ric has said, the holes will look terrible! (Unless you fill and repaint.) Wonder what it would look like (photoshop it anyone?)

I asked a mate who works at Subi how to take them off coz I was going to paint mine. His response was "forget it". Apparently you need to drop the headlining down to get to all the screws... That's not an easy nor fun job!

Ah, OK. It does look a bit 'exposed' in there doesn't it! Maybe pop the covers off and drench it in fish oil or POR15? Problem is, it will run under the rail and onto the paint... Not nice.

IMHO - I wouldn't bother.
