MY02 RX liberty Pod filter

Postby RX_MY02 » Tue Oct 10, 2006 5:14 pm

I have bought a pod filter and a steel mandrel bend but have not installed it yet. Does any one know if it will improve the performance of my engine cos ive had a look at putting it on but it looks like it will draw hot air from the engine. Any ideas.

Depend on the filter itself...

And yes, the filter will draw hot air from the engine bay. Best way would be to build a cold air box for it with a cols air feed. Otherwise you won't see much gains over your std filter in the std airbox.
