Hey Dan,

Even though I still have my sticker on the driver's side door, the best thing I can recommend for you to use to get rid of the sticky residue is a product called De-solv-it ! You can get these in the small 100ml bottles at Bunnings or Mitre 10 stores ! This stuff has been around for about 15yrs or so and is citrus based so it won't "eat' into anything other than the sticky adhesive residue left by stickers and those nasty magnetic security stickers on the inside covers of DVDs & CDs you get from major dept stores.

Cheers,
Lok

One of the first things i did was remove that sticker.

I used a dab of mineral turpentine on a rag and all the residue is gone. (i didn't have De-solv-it, i would have used that if i had it.)

Eucalyptus oil works a treat for removing sticker residue as well.

Did the manuals come with a sticker on the driver's door? If so, mine must have been removed before I got it :D

mine was removed before i got the car, however one thing to note is that even with tinted windows on the car, it seemed the leather had faded a fraction around the sticker, so now i have a darker black square where that sticker used to be!

You guys have prompted me to finally clean my door trim, 6 months after taking the sticker off
eucalyptus oil and then a spray of some interior protector i found in the garage. In fact, the door trim came up so good, i had to clean the other 3!
