Hi,
I have a 2004 MY05 subaru liberty sedan and when I plug my GPS charger in the cigarette charger it does not work. I have tested the charger in other cars n is fine and even the cigrette lighter does not work.

can anyone pls advise how can I check/replace the fuse for the cigarette charger . thanks a lot

Do all Gen4's have another 12v adapter in the centre console as well as the cigarette lighter.

More then likely the fuse has blown, as others have suggested :D

The standard fuse for the cigg lighter is not ment to handle electronic devices... IE - Phone chargers etc.

The cabin fuse box can be found down near the bonnet release. There is a pull out panel above it. In fact, it's not hard to pull that cover out when looking for the bonnet release

It's a 10 amp fuse by the way.

Oh and it looks (at least from the lack of other fuses for a "power outlet" in the centre console) like it is supposed to power both outlets.
