Why remove it? Changing the colour? Cause the black Subaru emblem looks best. If you go pink i tear it off your car..

haha nah not pink, thinking of going red to suite the rear garnish, or maybe silver to suite the body colour
but then again the starts wont be noticable, so maybe just red

Well I saw Pink of a Gen 3 Wagon, It shows out but it looks really bad imo, Red would stand out fairly well

yeh i do like pink badges, but just kind of looks like the car's trying to be an sti :P
thanks for the help, is there any specific paint that u could or should'nt use?
and also, ive seen the thread for respraying a gen4 badge
and was wondering is the gen 3 badge the same (i mean when it comes to the stars being indented from behind so i wont need to worry about taking them off by accident"

i used subaru touch up paint. anyway take it off grab a rag and some thinners wipe away the old paint, will take a little bit of rubbing. re-paint desired colour...no stars wont be damaged
