Foglight Bulbs on MY05, what's their wattage ?

Hello Peoples,

I was wondering if someone here could clarify something for me in regards to the bulbs that are used for the foglights on my MY05 Liberty 3.0R.

I believe they use the H3 type bulb, but I'm unsure of what their rated wattage is ?

I realise that I can take all the plastic shields off to find out, but I would like to know before I start taking things apart so that I can order correct replacements without having to dis-assemble and re-assemble several times.

Can anyone help me in clarifying their wattage ?

Lok, the Libs use the standard 55-watt for the H3 bulbs.

You might be able to get away with the 85-watt or the 100-watt bulbs, but I found those tend to make the wiring quite hot and could melt the wires or the connectors.

I thought they were 55watt but didn't want to take things apart to find out and put everything back just so I could drive down the road to get replacements to then have to pull everything apart again, so on, so on.
