That's a pretty pricey car wash! :D Or were you after a detail, which involves polishing and waxing? Most car wash places will have a detailing section that will cost between $50 - $90. Most of the time they just apply a single layer of polish and wax. Depending on the condition of your paint, this may or may not be sufficient.

Otherwise a dedicated detailing person or shop should start at $140 - $180 for a basic Stage I job. It's usually more involved, like the use of a claybar to get rid of paint oxidation.

Is that why it's been 2 years since you've washed your car?

He just peg water all over his car and called it clean?, Is it really worth going out paying for someone to do your car when if you have the products at home you can do it for a lot less?

Problem is no matter how much you pay the water is normally recycled and they dont rinse the mitts so they are rubbing the grit of the last 20 cars on your pride and joy that has a paint and clear cote that is known to be the softest paint in Christendom.
I know I am anal about such things but dont do it PLEASE!
Shit for 50 bucks you can foam gun your car wash with 2 rinsing buckets and dry, finish with zaino or crystal mist and pay for all the stuff including the pressure cleaner in about 8 washes and will take about the same time as driving 5 k to the wash and wait while they wash and swirl the clear coat for you!

Pete, you should open your own premium car wash for the discerning Liberty owner (aka- anal retentive freak). Foam gun, disposable wash mitts, topless chicks, and all.
