Boost gauge is very easy to do yourself. With the engine cover off, there's a very short 4mm vacuum line just behind the alternator - tee it off that.

yeah, that party I've done myself before, but it's the electrics/wiring side of it... i.e. where to tap the wires too...

also the mounting obviously.. she wants to put them in the top pocket above the radio, dash cubby pod style.

Bought a cubbypod then? :) Cubbypod is easy to install.

The electrical wiring isn't hard, I took it from the headunit harness. It's directly underneath the cubbypod, so it's easy to get to.

Whereabouts in Qld are you (can't remember sorry)

If you're anywhere near the north side you could try calling Chris at Audio Express - www.audioexpress.com.au

He's a champion and knows his stuff, he'll probably knock it over while you're walking around the other side of the car to watch :P

Yeah, I'm down the coast unfortunately...

but thanks for the reference, I'll be sure to keep his as a standby just in case I can't find anyone else

Cheers,

Matt

while this has come back to light, with the cubby pod, is there an easy way to get the wiring into the back of the cubby area... ?

Which wiring, power or oil/boost?

There's a grommet in the firewall just diagonally below the brake master cylinder and reservoir...

Take the power/ground wires from your headunit harness.
