Central Locking not working

Hi all! Just looking for some advice regarding my central locking on my Gen 4 Liberty.

I haven't diagnosed much as of yet, but when the unlock/lock buttons on the key are pressed, the indicators flash, and the car sounds like it is trying to lock/unlock.

Boot also opens with the key fob, so I'm pretty sure it isn't the key itself. The lock switch on the driver's door doesn't do anything either, except for sounding like it is trying to lock/unlock.

Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance :D

There is a thread here covering the rebuild/repair of the central locking actuators.
This is one of the common causes.

Try eg locking all doors manually, then what happens when you unlock with the key fob: which doors can unlock?

Potentially the first diagnostic step is to work out if it’s a door lock actuator issue, the drivers master switch or something else.

Try the wireless security section in your fsm, red link in my signature…
