Afternoon, again.
Being an old school driver who likes to be able to see gauges as opposed to 'idiot' lights, I dislike the 2012 Liberty's lack of temperature gauge. I have been considering an OBD2 plug in reader as a means of monitoring, in particular, water temperature. Reader would be blue toothed to phone through an appropriate app. Any experience with these and your thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Try obd2australia site, they do an iOS/android compatibile plug & app.

Less spendy, a $15 eBay blue elm327 bt plug with android device & torque app free or paid version.

Advanced use, ssm parameters, logging, LV, virtual gauges: btssm android app, $15 eBay clear blue case vagcom kkl 409.1 and a female usb A otg adapter to suit your android charge port.
