Entire dash and central console going off like its 1999

It's tied to the HUD display above the radio which resets whenever it happens. Basically hit a pothole or a speed bump and the bright setting just goes on rave mode. Turning on the headlights stops this behaviour by forcing it to stay bright. Otherwise it will do it anytime from when the car stops shaking from the pothole to 10+mins.
Yesterday the HUD just died entirely and preforming some 'percussive' maintenance it came back on into rave mode.
