Stuck trying to replace shifter slider :(

Hi!

Just wondering if anyone knows how to take off the centre console part with the cup holders as it’s in the way of me removing the plastic transmission cover thingy.
I’ve got an 07 liberty 2.5i premium in auto.

I tried to attach photos but the file size is too large, any help would be greatly appreciated

What step are you stuck on?

In the SH forester you undo all the screws in the floor of the centre console (including under little rubber mats), pop the handbrake boot off (which is a bit tricky first time) then Robert's your dad's brother.

Iirc a few Phillips screws at the front, and bolts on the sides at the rear below trim plugs.

Download a copy of your FSM workshop manual and search and browse it on a pc, it has literally all required info related to your car: red link in my signature
