2010 Subaru Libery Exiga - Heating 50% / Cooling 50%

Hi everyone,

I have an odd one that I need help with - aside from booking it with a tech @ subaru and being ripped off.

It's cold, 7-8 degrees, so we turn on the heating and it heats the LEFT HAND SIDE of the car thru all outlets open, from windscreen thru to rear.
But, the right hand side is only blowing COLD air, from the windscreen thru to the rear.

The air volumes appears the same, its just the temperature. It's killing us ...slowly.

The left and be adjusted right through the range of cold to hot, but the RIGHT HAND SIDE is all one temp, unless of course I turn on the A/C.

This happens on and off the DUAL mode.

any ideas ?

I'm going to guess the servo controlling the flap for the right side is stuck.
This will be the flap that diverts air through the hot box inside the dash.
I have no idea how hard it is to get at.
