Hey guys,

The HIDs on my 07 Spec-B are dying after a few minutes of being on.
I can turn the switch off, then on again and they light back up, but still only last a few minutes.
It happens when the car is stationary and not moving, so I wouldn't say its a wires fault.

Is this more likely to be a bulb or a ballast issue?
Not great at this sort of stuff, so I wanna get an idea of whats going on so I can try and fix it without breaking the bank.

Ime you’ll know for sure when you separate the bulb from the igniter/socket.

My car the igniters failed (burnt & crumbly sockets) around 220kkm, I replaced them with a used set from accident damage headlights.

The swap is relatively easy
