2014 BRZ seats in a Gen 4 liberty?

One of my mates has recently swapped out his stock 2014 BRZ seats for racing seats. Is there any way these can fit in my 06 H6 gen 4 liberty? (bolt-in or changing the mount)
My current seats have stiffened up and I'm looking at other options.
I can get the seats for next for nothing so I'm considering swapping them in, anyone have any experience with this?
Alternatively, would it be better to go for 08+ STi seats for something like Recaro or Bride?
Unlike 08+ STi seats, i don't know the situation with the side airbag connector and seatbelt sensor wiring
