Headlight symbol on dash stopped working

Postby BMCracer » Tue Oct 15, 2019 8:27 pm

2007 facelift legacy, Spec B with the headlight washers. When you turn the headlights on, the green headlight symbol comes on on the cluster above the tacho and speedo to show the lights are on. Except now it doesn't. I thought maybe it stopped coming on to indicate I had a blown bulb somewhere, but I checked tonight and they all seem to be working fine ( parkers, low beam, tail lights ). Any ideas?

What happens during the key on cluster ceremony?
Iirc all lights come on whilst the gauges sweep.

You might want to dig into your FSM for the diagnostics, link inc jdm FSM’s in my signature below.

I noticed my blinker indicators on cluster aren’t very bright despite turning up the cluster light. Would the globes be dimming or something else? I’d like to make those a white light if possible.
