Door locking/unlocking issues 4th Gen Liberty

Hi all,
I recently picked up an 05 Subaru liberty (MY06). When I got home i noticed some door locking issues. I will try my best to describe what is happening; the rear left side door neither locks and unlocks with the remote control, however, can be locked and unlocked from the inside. The front driver's side door has similar symptoms however when you try to shut the door locked it automatically unlocks. This means I have to lock from the inside the driver's door, crawl over to the passenger side then lock the rest of the car through the remote.
I was wondering if any of you have an idea of what could be causing the issue, thank you!
