Hi guys,

I'm just wondering what the standard boost should be on a 2003 Liberty GT 4GEN?
I'm getting around 14psi sometimes and then other times just 7psi. The car is completly standard other than the boost gauge which I installed to diagnose this fault. No codes are present.

Around 14psi, and the wastegate would open around 7psi eg if you bypassed the boost control solenoid.

It’s a clue for sure, but:

You’d probably get a better idea logging with tactrix, Btssm or vagcom.

And/or do an inlet pressure test.
