Yeah, this is quite the common problem with the GenIV series A~B. When this happened with my MY05, it was still under warranty so I brought it back to Subaru who had to replace the whole headlight. The bit that breaks off is part of the plastic headlight assembly, so I don't think it's possible to replace just the clip itself. After the warranty had expired and it happened for the other side, I had to come up with a 2 loop cable tie alternative which worked out quite well. :D

if yours is a gen 4, the its a 2.0i
if yours is a gen 3, i dont have a clue.

the pic you probably saw was adam's 2.0 which he changed so that it had dual exhuast.

Yup, Jimmy's on the money. Subaru released a base model early in 2003-2004 which consists of a single side exhaust, cloth, and 16" wheels. So you would most likely be the Gen IV Series A.

I could tell yah.... but then I'd.... well you know the rest
but seriously, which "clip bit" are you referring to mate?
the exhaust you'll have to wait for someone (with the right model) to upgrade and buy theirs, the clip(?) bit i can think of two you might be referring to. the replacement surround for the new muffler ($12 bucks something from subaru) or the rubber doovalackies that hold the new side up are bugger all from any exhaust shop. just ask if you want more specific info or if you want some help.
you can as i've done, even use the GT system with minor mods needed.
I spend most of my money on booze, fast cars and women, I just waste the rest...

I had the same issue in mine a little while ago, just in taking the bulb out the little plastic piece snapped straight off, managed to keep hold of the screw tho.
I used selleys quik grip to glue the screw into place, cause thats all that holds the metal clip in. and if you dont get glue on the clip it still moves as it should. :)
A lot cheaper than a new headlight, and if its done right its not obvious at all.
just have to be more careful with it next time. :)

Do anyone elses light bulbs shake a little over big bumps, is this normal? I haven't broken anything in there that I know of, but sometimes I can see the light bounce around a little (not auto levelling) when I go over bumps.

you sure it's the bulbs rattling and not the rear or front struts taking a bit long to settle after the bump?
