Interior cleaning

Postby Tresidder17 » Thu Mar 15, 2018 2:20 pm

I've got a few marks on the a pillars and roofliner of my lib, just general dirt from use and no proper stains. Im not sure how to go about cleaning them off though as its a cloth material and not a solid part I could use something like spray and wipe on. Just thought i would ask before i did something that damaged the parts or discoloured the cloth.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

Safest bet is to get a brand name interior cloth and trim cleaner. Meguiars do one which I have found quite good. Always try and dab it repeatedly before resorting to rubbing but either way you should be fine. I find a SOFT bristle tooth brush can help agitate the mark if it is a little stubborn and won't hurt the fabric. If you have some woolmix or mild detergent laying around you can use a very small amount of that with a damp cloth. Just make sure you rinse the soap out of the fabric by rinsing the cloth a few times after dabbing the fabric.
