CAI hose - slipping?

Postby Spoonie » Sat Mar 18, 2017 5:05 pm

So after receiving my car back from Subaru Service Centre I noticed that the intake hose seems to not be reinstalled correctly or is slipping - revealing steel below.

I have driven it for approx 100kms thus far noticed no issue - but is this common?

I should be able to make it to my mechanic in a couple of days - I should be fine until then right?

If you have a screw driver, just push it back together & tighten it back up....unless there is a leak it will be fine.

I doubt it was slipping...probably not fitted correctly
