TIMING......BELT OR CHAIN??

I´m almost in 100,000km and i want to change the timing belt or chain, so I need to know which one I need?
does anyone can help me?

Confirm this, but when buying my MY06 model, I was told the 2.0 and 2.5 litre motors have belts, and the 3.0 has a chain.

Correct the 2.0 GT has a belt and the H6 has a timing chain. I assume that the earlier models will have belts. As all the WRX's have timing belts.

Hey dude, All gen 3's have got a belt.

Cost price from subaru for a belt is $150.00, times that figure by 10 and you get your total cost for fitting it too!
