Banjo bolt filter - replace, clean or throw?

Postby phatmonk » Wed Dec 21, 2016 4:40 pm

Hi,

Racking up another job on the Liberty. Struggling to find where the bolts are located, but there is more search and Google for that.

Curious. Replace, clean or throw the filter? If replace, where can the filters be bought from?

Cheers!

Depends how old your engine is and how well its been maintained

If you're relatively comfortable that there is no major "gunk" or sludge buildup anywhere in your libricating system, then the best option is to remove, keeping in mind you would need to ensure your oil changes are no later than every 10,000kms going forward so as not to get any sludge buildup going through your turbo (or avcs solenoids)
