Hello, I want to paint my brake calipers red with VHT brake caliper paint and would like to do it while the brake is still on the car, is it possible to do it this way if everything is covered. Also to clean it would a good way to do it is use brake cleaner then wire brush it and remove everything and then wipe down with wax and grease remover or do i need to sand it to because they are in decent condition just a bit dirty. Also about how long does it take to dry and how many coats. Thanks, Cooper

Pretty much read directions on can. Give good clean, get rid of dirt and flakey paint etc, wax and grease wipe over, and paint

The cleaner and the more coats the better.
For my brembos I paint stripped them, sandblasted, two coats of VHT metallic base, two coats of metallic red, two coats of high temp clear.
For basic painting on the car, I'd do it on a hot day, and do two coats a few hours between them, and not drive it til the next day.
