12/13 Liberty GT. One of the driving light lenses has broken. AFAICS have to get underneath and take off some plastc panels below the light to get to th guts. My question is (if that is what I have to do) ....How do I remove the plastic panels, hopefully without damaging them. What is the mechanism?

Thanks for any help.

Nick

IIRC they're clipped on. Just pull the bumper off, it's not that hard. Lots of fiddly clips and a few bolts.

If it helps, the front honeycomb surround just pulls off (unclips) forwards.

But I think you may need to pull off the guard liner behind to access any securing screws? But start at the front and see how you go.

Would I be right then in assuming the lens is available from Subaru or elsewhere?

Yeah, let me know if you need a Part number. The lense is a separate part to the plastic housing it clips into (my plastic housing had cracked, but the lenses was still fine). Of course a wrecker is also an option (either through eg. eBay ads, or going to one directly if there's one near to you).
