09/2003 Liberty Clock/Temp etc issue

Postby LlBERTY » Wed May 25, 2016 10:22 am

Hey guys I have a Liberty and the clock/temperature/Km's etc display is having an issue. Sometimes it'll work but most of the time it doesn't work. It flashes 2 codes at me 'ERR' and 'ACC'. Maybe there is a loose connection at the back? I've replaced the fuse and this hasn't helped. Any information would be great. Thanks guys

I've figured out the possible causes

(1) R4 Solder is dodgy and was a common problem
(2) Could be a fuse in engine compartment blown
(3) Could be a loose connection at the back
(4) Could of got moisture in the wiring

I'm going to try fix (1) first

Did what the guys done on that forum and soldered the R4 but it's still playing up on me. The wreckers have one for $100 but who knows if it actually works

Curious whether you were able to sort out the issue?
