Hi all, I've done a search and could not find the information I was after.

I bought a 2nd hand 2008 Spec-B and it only came with 1 key, instead of shelling out hundreds at the stealer I bought a spare off eBay, this one to be exact - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/291623885485?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Now it says it has a transmitter inside ready to program, I've got the key cut and it fits the ignition perfect. Can anyone please tell me how to get this done?

Other notes - I have Free SSM but can not get my VAG-COM cable to work with it (Driver issues), I'm not even sure if Free SSM can program these keys.

I was trying to avoid the costs associated with a dealer/locksmith if possible..

Is 'Mr Locksmith' the guy you used? Do you have any contact details for him please?
