SO, I thought that I would give this project a go.
A Brake Master Cylinder Support Bracket for the 3.0R SpecB Wagon

Presently being painted.

The last picture shows where it shall mount.
It has used the existing bracket for the brake line and Power Steering Hose support and mounts at the that point and the two ABS Pump Supports.

More as-installed photos in a couple of days.

The first image is the painted Support Bracket with the Nyloc Lock nut and Back-Up Nut installed.
The second image is the Delrin Support Cup that goes over the end of the Master Cylinder and is held against the end of the Master Cylinder by the Back-Up Nut (above)
The third image is the Support Bracket installed back onto the car. As described, it locates in the mounting holes for the brakeline and Power Steering support plus the ABS Pump points.
The last image is showing the end of the Master Cylinder, the Delrin Cup over the end of the cylinder and Back-Up Nut tightened and the Nyloc Nut locking things in place.

I was awaiting expressions of interest.
You are the first, thank you.
I will let you all know when I am ready.
And yes, should also fit the Gen4 2.5T Spec-B, however I will do you a discount rate to do the trial fit on your car?
Cheers!

Yeah, no problem. Let me know when. I live SW Sydney so easy enough to swing by. Otherwise I'm 99% sure I'm going to the club lib meet at the end of the month.

serarch terms: master cylinder brake brace support cusco stopper

What sort of damage and time are you looking at on this? There's a Cusco one going on FB atm for $75 shipped, but I'd rather support you (and I don't need it in a rush)

Hi Gene,
You have a post facelift? Right?
I have noticed looking at Junior's car while its engine is out) that the mounting points are different compared to my preface Spec B.
Would you please consider taking a photo around the strut tower and brake master cycling so I can see if we can use Junior's car dimensions to model off?
Else if you could pop over to Yagoona for 30 minutes so I can look under and photograph under your hood?
Cheers!

Well, time for update.
Here is a picture of the Production Version - Serial Number #1. Not painted yet.
It is fitted into my car awaiting a trial fitment into Kiwigene's car.
The H6 and the 2.5T-GT are different in the area of the hose to the power steering fluid reservoir.

There may be some metal to be removed from the bracket for the 2.5T-GTB cars.
Awaiting a visit from Kiwigene for a trail fit.

Okay,

The first production unit was trial fitted into Kiwigene's Spec-B GT wagon this morning
http://imgur.com/a/exnL3
The bracket was modified slightly to clear the Power Steering Fluid return pipe to the fluid reservoir.
As the Pre-Facelift 3.0R H6 has a power steering fluid oil cooler, this hose is not in this location.

First photo is the bracket trial fitted into Kiwigene's car.
Second photo is Kiwigene proudly holding the new bracket.

During the week it will be painted and fitted finally to Kiwigene's car next weekend.
Just in time for the Olympic Park meet on Sunday 29th.
Kiwigene would just love to show it off to you at the meet.
Nothing would possibly give him more pleasure!
