Hitachi to Denso ECU Swap? What are the implications?

Hey guys,

I'm interested to find out what would I have to do to swap out the ECU from a Hitaci to a Denso? I ask this because I wish to do a lot of tuning on my vehicle and a little bit of forced induction.

What I am expecting I might hear is the wiring lume and all the electronics in the engine bay (sensors, throttle body, etc).

Has anybody done this before?
Does it appear to be as daunting a task as I've assumed?

In an attempt to work my way towards tunability, I have considered piggyback ECUs and talked to another member (blademaster) who has swapped out his ECU, however neither option appears to be in my interests.

Any advice will be very much appreciated.
Cheers.

Honestly, sell it and buy a turbo, that's a lot of work to go to for very little gains, and a probably make the car worth LESS in the long run.

Cheers.

I figured that might be the case. I don't really want to get rid of it, I like it. It's in good condition and I've done a bit of work to it myself. Regardless, somewhere in my future I see an H6 supercharged.

I guess for now, I might just have to live with that dream.
